What makes me most proud of securing my PMP is that despite the challenges faced to get here, I not only passed but MASTERED every category on my first attempt: People, Process, Business Environment. ⚜️Thank you to those of you who supported me on this journey! If you all only knew how arduous the application and testing process was: seeking validation of my experience from former coworkers I just KNEW would support me and being disappointed by those who chose not to do so, being rejected by PMI after they didn’t recognize my training hours, and having to escalate to have a human finally review and approve my application. To top it off, I sat for 4 hours on a Saturday to complete the exam only to receive an email two days later indicating I was a “no show” for my testing appointment‼️Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not easily discouraged, and the challenges only further motivated me.
